Vidi will play Kisvarda on Sunday instead of Saturday due to being in Europa League action during the week. The game will kick off at 17:00pm as Vidi make the visit to Kisvarda for the first time. The match will be played at the new Varketi stadium, which was completed in the summer. 

The NB I newcomers started the new season "slowly". Their first ever first division game was at the Pancho Arena against MOL Vidi FC, which resulted in a 4-0 win for the red and blues. They then suffered another 4-0 defeat to Honved with manager Elemer Kondas losing his job. Results since have improved. There were further loses to Ujpest 1-0, Ferencvaros 2-0, before the first point arrived away in Felcsut against Puskas Academy 1-1. The game at home to DVTK also ended in the same scoreline. The first win came away at the Hidegkuti stadium and three points over MTK in match 7. Haladas were also beaten but they have since lost the last three games against DVSC, Paks and Mezokovesd. 

Top goalscorers with 3 each are Zoltan Horvath and defender Barnabas Vari. They have so far scored 10 goals this season. Their squad is valued by transfermarkt.de at 6.93 million euros, which is the 6th highest in the division. The highest value player is keeper Felipe on 950,000€. Anderson Pico is close behind with a tag of 700,000€. 

Transfers have continued since the last Vidi-Kisvarda game. Anton Shynder is no longer a squad member, but Romanian forward Sergiu Negrut has come in from Beroe Stara Zagora. His fellow countryman Cornel Ene arrived from Daco while Ukrainian 50 times capped international veteran Artem Milevskiy is another to sign on the dotted line.

Kisvarda include former Vidi players Andras Gosztonyi and Martin Izing in their squad.
