It is back to OTP league action at the weekend with a visit to bottom of the league Haladas.

Match 11 of the OTP league season will be played on Saturday 20th October. Vidi are the visitors at Szombathely Haladas with kick off at 17:00pm. The game brings to an end the first third of the league season. Haladas have picked up 5 points from their 10 games so far to sit in bottom place.
Haladas were in mid-table after four games as they picked up a point from their game with Ujpest and beat the Puskas Academy. However, a point in a draw against Debrecen has been the only once since then as they slipped slowly to the bottom of the league table. They announced on the 27th September that they had parted company with Michal Hipp. The new manager is Ferenc Horvath, who arrived from Balmazujvaros. That is the 7th first division side that the former Vidi manager has taken charge of. The green and whites have lost both of their last two games against Puskas Academy and Mezokovesd.
Their squad is valued at 5,78 million euro, which is the eighth highest in the NB I according to transfermarkt.de. Highest valued player is forward Tamas Priskin, who together with former youth international Mario Nemeth and Lorant Kovacs are valued at around 350,000€.
The summer period did not see their squad weakened compared to the season before. Their main key players remained with Stef Wils retiring and Tamas Kiss moving to PAFC. David Williams made 66 appearances and scored 20 goals for them before leaving the football club. Arrivals included Laszlo Tamas from relegated Balmazujvaros and right back Yuriy Habovda. Former Ferencvaros forward Tamas Priskin was another new signing. Gaal Balint signed a contract with the green and whites and Emil Lynget came in from Dundee.
Haladas are the only side in the first division to not have a former Vidi player in their squad. However, manager Ferenc Horvath and his assistant Tamas Szamosi have worked and even played for Vidi.
