We continue to look back over the last 12 months and the month of May.
The league season went right up until the wire in May. Videoton made the visit to Budapest and the home of Honved on the final weekend of the season. The two sides went into the game level on the same amount of points. However, Honved had won more games and that meant that they led the table.
The tickets went quickly and the sold out signs went up. A total of 1700 made the trip from Szekesfehervar to the Bozsik stadium. There were also many present outside the Hotel Magyar Kiraly, but they would be disappointed as the home side emerged 1-0 winners. That resulted in a second place finish for the 2016/17 league season.
