"We have just finished a fantastic autumn season, but at the same time I have a sense of something missing. This is not just because of our European run as I felt we performed strongly throughout. With a little bit more luck, we could have gone through the group. I was disappointed for a short while after the game with Chelsea at home. However, I now feel that it was a really good thing that we achieved on the international stage. I am somewhat disappointed that we did not go into the winter break sitting in first place in the league. I am still very proud of the team and I know that many are proud of us in the country. This feels very good and I want us to perform similarly in the future, which would give our supporters plenty to be happy about. We know that those that supported us were also very proud and that applies to those that remained away for several reasons. I hope that they will return to the stadium in the future and support us. I gladly remember back to the matches over the autumn season. We also learned a lot from those matches that we lost. 

I am also pleased that I could help the team with my goals but football is a team sport. It feels just as good when any player scores for us in the opposing goal than when I do. I will spend a large part of the break in Paris with my family and friends. It has been a tough 6 months behind us so I am sure that I will spend a couple of days relaxing. The coaching staff have given us a program to keep fit and help us return back in January in good strength. Our aim before the game with Ferencvaros was to reduce the gap at the top to 5 points, which we managed to do. I am sure that they will also prepare strongly in the break ahead of the spring season. I feel that they will drop points and we will need to take advantage as we want to defend our league title. We also have the Hungarian cup that we want to win. I am sure that January will be a very tough month of preparation for us. We will relax and pump ourselves up until then. I would like to wish each and every Vidi supporter a Happy Christmas and New Year. "
