The month of April saw Vidi in a race for the league title and an important win over Debrecen.
April 2017 saw the 7th win over DVSC in a row. That meant the race for the league title with Honved continued towards the very end. An own goal from defender Meszaros gave Vidi the lead after 9 minutes. Konyves levelled for the visitors in the first half. Goals from Scepovic and Hadzic in the second half earned the three points for the red and blues.
