The second in our lengthy interviews with Videoton players. This time Adam Gyurcso shares his thoughts on the last 12 months and looks ahead to the future.

2013-14 season summary
"I have ambiguous feelings inside of me with regards to the way we started the season. On the one hand, we suffered a massive failure in the first qualifying round of the Europa league, but we quickly got over that and did really well in the league at the start. Results stopped coming in the second half of the autumn season, and what we managed to ruin in the autumn, could not be put right over the spring. Overall, just as with the supporters, there was a big empty space for us as well. We can only have a better season next. Looking at my own performances, I would start by saying that I feel that I deserved to have had much more playing opportunity than I was given. I did not get this, although I gave everything in each of the training sessions. When I was given the chance in games, I did everything to try and prove that I had a place in the side. There were matches where I succeeded in this, but others where I had poorer games. One thing that is certain is that both individually and as a team, we can only have a better campaign next season."
The future and the national side
"I am really looking forward to next season. Unfortunately we will not be participating in European competition, but we have plenty to do to repay the supporters. For this reason, and also to show that there is a place for me in the side, I will be fighting with double strength. It is true that there were never any complaints about the way I worked in training. I hope that if I get enough games to play in, then I can grab the chance. It is a positive feedback for me that the national team manager has faith in me, and regularly calls me in to his squad's. Sadly, despite the confidence shown in me, I could not always produce the perforances for the national side recently. However, I have not played in too many games this season, so I think that this lack of matches could be seen in my games. As I have already said, we can only hope for a better season!"
