Vidi's young forward was operated on by Dr Geza Abkarovits
"Paraiba's operation went well. This intervention that the player underwent by Dr Geza Abkarovits is considered routine surgery. The young player will remain in the Szekesfehervar hospital until the weekend, and his leg will then remain in a cast for a few weeks. Once Paraiba leaves hospital, he will then begin physiotherapy. This will help him to strengthen his upper body, as well as his thighs, so that once the cast comes off, he can begin his rehabilitation with good stamina" - commented Dr Tibor Kovacs, the club doctor to vidi.hu.

"This was the second operation in my life. I had to have a similar operation on my right leg when I was in Brazil. I remained awake throughout this operation, and I could watch things as they happened through a monitor. I could hardly sleep during the night following my operation, as I was in real pain. The pain has since gone and I have managed to rest more. The days are long and rather boring, but several of my team mates have already come in to visit me. My girlfriend is with me virtually all the time, so it helps to make things easier for me" - said Paraiba.
