The player joined Vidi two months ago and scored his first goal for the club on Saturday.

You scored your first goal in a Videoton shirt in your fourth league appearance, when you scored against the Puskas Academy FC. We could sense just how important the goal was to you by the way you celebrated.
Naturally, it was important from several points of view, with it being my first goal for Vidi, but I hope that it will be followed by many more in the future. The other cause for celebration is that we recently found out that we would be becoming parents shortly.
We would like the Videoton supporters to get to know you better, as you have been here for two months already, and your blending in easier all the time with the team. You were also chosen in the team of the week for last week. Tell us something about yourself, what your childhood was like and where and with who did you start playing football?
I became a professional footballer at a relatively late age, as I was really playing football as a hobby besides my job until the age of 19. I grew up in very poor surroundings, with our parents raising 5 of us, so I just had to work. I got a job at a petrol station, while I played football for a small club. This is where I was seen and then eventually signed for Trofensen, which is where I really started my career in the Portuguese second division.

You made it quickly to the first division of Portuguese football.
Yes, we can say this. I had a really successful season with Trofensen, which helped me to sign for Beira Mar, where I remained for three years, making 56 league appearances and scoring 8 goals. This was in the Portuguese first division. Videoton FC came looking for me and I was happy to move to Hungary.
Several weeks and matches have gone by since, and based on the results to date, we can sense that you are still happy?
That is correct as I feel really good at both the club and in the country. I live with my wife in Szekesfehervar, and as I have just mentioned, our family will shortly grow. Everything is fine, with the only difficulty being the Hungarian language. It is not easy to cope with but I am trying.

Why did you choose the number 6 shirt?
I have always been successful in the number 6 shirt, or a shirt number that ends with that number. I would have liked the 16 shirt, but that was already taken, so I chose the number 6.
The team have made a fantastic start to the season. What are your thoughts for the remainder of the season?
I really want to win the league with Vidi! Fortunately we have made a very good start to the season, winning 9 of our matches from 11. I feel that this speaks for itself and shows our strength. We can achieve good success if we carry on along this road.
