The final month of 2019 is covered below as we complete our series.
Kisvarda continue to be a mid-table side in the OTP League having only had one previous season in the top division. We beat them twice and drew the other game with them last season. August 2019 saw a 3-0 win and the two sides met again on the 14th December. Vidi completed their final match of the year with a 2-0 victory.
That continued an unbeaten record against them in five matches. Former goalkeeper Juan Calatayud celebrated his 40th birthday on the 21st December. One of our first ever NB I players, Karoly Balogh became 80 a day later on the 22nd December.
Team return to pre-season and begin with PCR tests

A shorter than normal winter break saw the players back at the Sosto.

Hungary came from behind to beat Iceland and qualify for the EC in November.

A penalty shootout win over French side Stade de Reims was enough to make it through.
2020 July: Loic Nego scores the Vidi goal of the decade

The goal came in the memorable 2-2 home draw against Chelsea in the Europa League Group Stage.
2020 June: Roland Juhasz scores the winning goal in the final game of his career
2020. December 25.
