"I was very surprised when the chance arose to return back to Vidi after a few years. It did not take me a second to decide whether I would accept the offer from the club. I spent many nice years in Szekesfehervar during the previous period. I was a player when Videoton first won the league title and also played in the Champions League qualifiers. I feel that I have played some part in the history of the club. Wherever I have played, my heart was always at Videoton and I am proud to be a member of the Vidi family again. I felt good at Mezokovesd but it is true that they were battling to reach completely different targets. I was the best keeper over the 2016 autumn season but I will honestly say that I have never dealt with statistics. Many people congratulated me at Mezokoved for those stats, and I did not understand at first, It felt good but the most important thing is to perform well. I remember back in the past that we always went out to Spain for our winter training camps. Just like back then, everything is fine and in place to work hard here. There are also several players still in the squad that were here back in the previous period. I have settled in without any problems and feel as if I was keeping goal over recent years here. We cannot look too deeply at the result of our first friendly game. We went into that game having trained twice a day leading up to it. We do not really have to be in top form at the moment, but in the second part of February when the season resumes. Tuesday's game will be special as we will come up against two familiar people. Joan Carrillo and Nikola Mitrovic are two figures that are part of the opponents team. They both have serious connections to Vidi. I am really looking forward to the spring season. Although FTC are 3 points ahead, we need to make sure we focus on ourselves and I am sure FTC will not win 14 out of 14 league games.
