"The training camp is a week old here in Spain. Although there was a little bit of rain on Saturday morning, the weather has been great generally. Even more important is that we can carry out good work during training. I really like this weather and feel that training camps are very important for footballers. This provides an even better opportunity for the team members to bond. It also helps the new players get used to everything quicker. The coaching staff have paid attention to make sure things do not become monotone during the two weeks here. They told us to head for the sea after training instead of the usual ice buckets after training. I really enjoy this as I love to swim and it was good to go for a little dip. It was also a form of team building as we were all in the water at the same time. The manager has also asked us to laugh together when we have to and to suffer together when the time comes as it makes the bond stronger. I am very hopeful regarding the future and the atmosphere within the squad is very good. I also mentioned that the work so far has been very good. I am looking forward to the friendly games next week as we can practice the tactical elements that the coaching staff have asked from us. We know that they will be hard games as we will be playing against strong opponents. We are in the middle of pre-season and our legs feel the most heavy at the moment.
