The third day at the training camp in Spain started in the usual way. Breakfast was served between 8 and 9am. A short period of rest was followed by the team meeting up on the training pitch at 10. The toughest training session so far was in the morning, with runs at various pace for the players for close to an hour. 

It was no surprise at all nobody was to be seen around the hotel after lunch. The players rested before heading out again for the afternoon session at 16:00pm. The ball was the focal point in the afternoon with attacking moves and shooting practice.

On a nearby pitch to the hotel, Rapid Vienna played against Saturday's opponents from China Beijing Renhe FC. It was a high scoring game that ended 4-2 to the Austrians.

There were two big cakes present for dinner that started at 19:00pm. 

Anel Hadzic presented his 19 year old brother Elvir with a cake. Then kit man Robert Lakatos was surprised when he too was given a cake.
