The 25 year old has signed a 3+1 year deal with the red and blues.

Adam Bodi was born in Nyiregyhaza, Hungary on the 18th October 1990. The footballer did not begin his playing career with his home town club, but opted to join Debrecen. He made his way through the youth teams before making his debut for their second team at the age of 18. He played in the second tier for the next two years, helping the Debrecen reserve side to two top position finishes. His first division debut came on the 4th May 2010. Bodi went on to make 153 league appearances in the six seasons he played with Debrecen. Those included a total of 29 goals. He was a member of their title winning side three times. Adam Bodi also won the Hungarian cup while with the reds. Bodi's performances helped him break into the national team, and his debut came last autumn against the Faroe Islands in a European Championship qualifier. Hungary won that game 2-1. The midfielder has signed a 3+1 year deal with Videoton.
"I heard about interest from Videoton in the winter, which was a little bit of a surprise that one of Debrecen's main rivals were after me. I went home and wrote down the things that were positive in order to continue my career in Szekesfehervar. I finally made the decision that the time had come for a change. I cannot say that the last few years have been bad, which is confirmed by the fact that I played for the national team. I think that this move is good for everybody and it is the best decision. I would like to get back into the national team and be a part of the European group stage again. I also hope that I can help Vidi to success in the league. I would like to thank Debrecen, who helped to make this transfer possible. I know that they have paid serious money to get me. I will do all I can to show what I can do on the pitch and that it was worth signing me" - commented Adam Bodi.

The midfielder shares his thoughts on the season just completed and also looks ahead.

The Videoton goalkeeper was a consistant performer in goal in the season just finished.

The Serbian forward also spoke about winning the best player award.

The players will report back on the 8th June for the start of pre-season ahead of the Europa League.

The award was presented to him at the Gala on Sunday evening.

The keeper was understandably disappointed following the final whistle.
