In sunny 13c weather, around 2500 were inside the stadium at the kick off of the 24th match in the OTP league season in Miskolc. Joan Carrillo kept the same starting line-up with that of a week ago against Haladas. That meant places for both Nikolics and Feczesin.

The first chance came on 7 minutes when Feczesin was gifted the ball in the home side's half. He ran with the ball and played it out right to Gyurcso, who crossed first time in to the middle, but a defender was able to get his foot to the ball, with the rebound falling to Sandor, who hit a shot at goal, but again it struck the leg of a defender. Simon then tried his luck with a shot from the edge of the box, with the ball coming back off Antal, with Feczesin again shooting and once again the ball was blocked by a home defender.

Gyurcso tried to hit a shot on 10 minutes, but he could not beat keeper Antal. The resulting counter attack saw Calatayud save from Griffiths. Another Gyurcso shot after 15 minutes failed to break the deadlock.

Sandor curled a ball on 20 minutes, while Feczesin had a good chance 3 minutes later. The 25th minute saw the home keeper do well to keep out a Juhasz header. Feczesin released Gyurcso with a good ball on 31 minutes, who showed good skill before finding Nikolics, but again Antal did well to deal with the forwards effort from 8 meters. Vidi tried hard to find the opener in the first half but the two sides went in at the break with the score at 0-0.

The second half began really well for the men from Fehervar. Gyurcso found Feczesin, who hit a first time shot at goal from 15 meters. Antal was well placed to save, but the rebound fell kindly to Oliveira who made no mistake from 6 meters out to make it 0-1. There were half chances at either end in the minutes that followed. Vidi doubled their lead 10 minutes after the opening goal. Nikolics played Gyurcso in on the right, who squared the ball in to the middle for Feczesin to calmly find the back of the net. (0-2.)

Calatayud saved a shot on 63 minutes from Nemeth, while Takacs went very close with his effort that rolled just wide of the right post. Simon had a powerful shot after 71 minutes that was punched clear by Antal. Gyurcso showed good dribbling skill to beat his man 5 minutes later, and his low cross from the right was met at the far post by Oliveira, but the goal was flagged offside.

Gyurcso, Trebotic and Oliveira all had shots in the last 10 minutes of the game, but there was no change to the scoreline. Griffiths found the side netting at the other end, while a long distance strike from Nemeth ended in the hands of Calatayud. Nikolics had a shot in injury time from 16 meters, but Antal was on hand to save. A minute before full time saw Griffiths score a consolation goal. The Ivory Coast forward met a Jenner centre to make it 1-2.

Vidi collected the three points to move 11 points clear ahead of second placed Ferencvaros. The lead is 12 points ahead of third in the table MTK. Vidi are next in action on Wednesday in the second leg of the league cup. The opponents will be Debrecen at the Sostoi stadium.
