The defender spoke to us about the last six months and how he has spent the Christmas period.

Although the league table, numbers and statistics speak for themself, how would you sum up the performance of the team over the autumn?
The 10 league match winning series, which including both the Hungarian and league cups was 16 in total made the start of the season really fantastic. I think that any team would envy that. We showed what this team is capable of doing. The home defeat to Debrecen in the middle of October did not come at a good time for us, but it is positive to see the way we managed to pick up the tempo again following that. We ended 2014 by also scoring 9 goals in our first two spring league games, which were both away from home. The autumn went really well overall. The fact that second placed MTK are 8 points behind us, while third in the table Debrecen are 12 behind after 17 games again speaks for itself. We must also not forget that we are still involved in both of the cups.
What was the most pleasing moment of the last six months for you?
There were many memorable games that we played, but the most important is that the team performed really well. I would also gladly remember back to the cup match at Szigetszentmiklos, which we ended up winning with me scoring the deciding goal. I would not pick this game out because we went through, but rather as it was my first goal in a Vidi shirt.
How have you spent the last few weeks?
Although I did not plan it, we ended up in Oslo for a few days in the middle of December. It was a fantastic surprise from my girlfriend, but I spent the majority of time with my family and friends. I tried to rest and prepare the tasks ahead of us.

We complete the final month in our series covering the last 12 months.

The defender also mentioned the improvement within the team towards the end of the year.

The Videoton FC squad will report back for pre-season on the 4th January. A friendly has been planned for the end of January against Debrecen.
