The Vidi squad who are training in Austria voted for their choice of club captain for the 2014-15 season.
Videoton head coach Joan Carrillo decided that the players should vote for their choice for the new team captain for the new season. György Sándor picked up the most votes.
"My team mates chose me as the new team captain, which naturally feels really good to have this trust. This role is not new to me, as I was earlier captain of Videoton. However, there is a new aspect with me being the link between the team, headcoach and management of the club. Everything else will remain the same as previously. We continue to have 3 man group of captains, with the other 2 being Roland Juhász and Marco Caneira" - said new captain György Sándor to vidi.hu.
