In the 24th round of the OTP Bank Liga our team hosted Ferencváros at 17:00 at the MOL Arena Sóstó. Michael Boris started the match against FTC with Kovács D. - Bese, Rus, Stopira, Shabanov, Hangya- Fiola - Nego, Zulj - Dárdai - Kodro, and before the match we also listened to the Hungarian anthem in honour of the March 15th revolution.

In the first ten minutes, Dániel Kovács was on hand twice, first saving Kovacevic's header and then Zubkov's shot, while Esiti's 18-metre shot ricocheted off the post. Dárdai threatened in the 12th and 18th minutes, but Dénes Dibusz dealt with the danger. The game picked up again in the last five minutes of the half, with Civic's 42nd minute cross being headed over the bar by Botka, and a minute later Nego's pass was followed by Bese's 20-metre effort that was wide of the target as the teams went into the dressing room with the score at 0-0.

There were no changes at the break and the second period started with two dangerous left-wing crosses from Dardai, but both were cleared by the Green and White defenders. In the 54th minute, Nego found the back of the net after a nice attack, but the cross came from Besé, who had been ruled offside, so our goal was disallowed. In the 58th minute, Boli made a spectacular move, but shot powerlessly from inside our box, and Kovács was able to save. In the 66th minute, Kodro's attempt from seven minutes was saved by Dibusz, and unfortunately two minutes later Ryan Mmaee curled a shot into the top left corner (0-1).

In the 71st minute, Marquinhos shot a goal, and two minutes later, Kodro met Rus' excellent cross, but Dibusz's did well to save the close-range header. After this chance, Michael Boris tried to freshen things up with substitutions: Dardai and Besé were replaced by Petryak and Funsho. In the 82nd minute, the FTC goalkeeper was again called upon, as Zulj's powerful shot into the far corner was saved by Dibusz. In the 85th minute, Stopira and Zulj left the pitch, Nikolic and Makarenko came on for the last few minutes. We attacked with all our energy for an equaliser, but after a counter attack Kovács made a great save, but the rebound was scored by Mmaee (0-2).
