Caretaker national team manager Zoltan Szelesi called up Vidi midfielder Jozsef Varga on Friday. The midfielder will link up with the national squad for the friendly game with Costa Rica. That game will be played on the 14th November at the Groupama stadium in Budapest.
The 29 year old will be the fourth Videoton player in the Hungarian squad. He will join Mate Patkai, Paulo Vinicius and Adam Kovacsik. Defender Attila Fiola had to pull out recently due to an injury. Varga has played 31 times for his country so far. He most recently played in Pal Dardai's side back in 2014.
