Massive surprise! Vidi arrived at the Ulloi ut stadium with little chance of beating Ferencvaros. The home side had beaten Győr in the match before to close the gap with the sides at the top. It was Vidi who almost went ahead inside the first minute. A cross from Nagy was headed on by Szabo towards goal. A free kick on 3 minutes saw Majer pass to Szabo who fed it on to Tiber. He beat Hajdu and scored from 10 meters into the back of the empty net (0-1). Fradi tried to get back into the game and had more of the ball but there was no change to the scoreline in the first half. The second half started in the same way as the first had. Nagy brought Majer into play after 48 minutes and his skill beat the defender, before hitting a low shot from 10 meters into the bottom right corner (0-2).
The home teams supporters showed unrest from the hour mark with lots of whistling aimed at the players. That did not seem to effect the Videoton players. Nagy released Majer on 77 minutes, who was not marked by the green and white defenders, which resulted in the forward making no mistake to make it 0-3.

Manager: Kovács Ferenc
Previous successful manager Ferenc Kovacs sat in the opposing dugout for the game in Szekesfehervar. It was his 475th first division game in charge of a side. Salloi pounced early on to put Vidi ahead. A good ball in from Takacs after 6 minutes was controlled by Salloi, who confidently found the back of the net from 14 meters (1-0). A fine move involving Csucsanszky after 22 minutes saw him play in Salloi, who played it on to Takacs. The forward played it into the middle for Salloi to get hold of the ball and beat Brockhauser from close range to make it 2-0. A left sided free kick from Csucsanszky after 74 minutes wrapped things up with the ball finding Foldes, who from 4 meters made no mistake to make the final score 3-0. Vidi played with organisation and plenty of ideas and were better than opponents Dozsa. Csucsanszky had returned to the side after a period out and showed what he could do with the ball. The opponents tried but there were gaps in their defence.

It was not a particularly attractive game but Vidi were clever and killed the game having taken advantage of the opponents mistakes. Lorant Olah, the captain of the home team had said at the break that there had not been a three goal difference in the two sides. However, the quick penalty and the errors at the back had made an impact on the outcome. The opening goal came from Alves from the penalty spot. The Brazilian would go on to score a second with a further goal from Vasziljevics to make it 0-3 at the break. Akos Elek scored Vidi's fourth before a consolation Olah goal for the home side towards the end.
The second half performance confirmed Vidi's superiority and three goal lead. Kaposvar did not have enough strength to attack or even close down the visiting team. Denes Szakaly was very active for Vidi and substitute Nikolic also had a chance to increase the winning margin.

Hungary will have home matches against Estonia and Finland next week.

Another busy week of Europa League group stage football and OTP league lies ahead for Marko Nikolic and his side.

The Bosnian forward scored his first NB I goal against Paks on Saturday evening.

Patkai scored twice in the 4-0 away win at the home of Paks on Saturday.

The two managers shared their thoughts shortly after the final whistle on Saturday.

Vidi produced a very good performance and scored four goals at Paks
