"It was really good out there on the pitch against the Croatian side in the international friendly. I felt that I managed to give a confident performance in the match. I also tried to do my best each time I got hold of the ball and tried to find the maximum solution. The supporters saw two completely different 45 minutes. We showed too much respect to our opponents in the first half, and perhaps we were in awe of them, and did not pass as confidently as we should have. We went out in the second half wanting to get back in the game and find the equalizer. We showed more confidence in the way we moved into open spaces and the passes then came, which helped us to open up the Croatian defence. Our opponents had several World stars in the side, but we remained focused throughout and played disciplined football. We managed to carry on from where we left off against Norway in November. I also felt that we moved forward a bit. It also shows the strength of the team that star players were unable to open up our tight defence. We are preparing for the European Championships and we will face similar strong sides in France." - commented Adam Lang.
