Pre-season started with some new faces at the club. Puskas Academy keeper Branislav Danilovic was present, as was Mate Patkai who had spent the last 3,5 seasons in the midfield of Győri ETO. Neither have yet signed a contract with Vidi. Another new face was keeper Peter Gabor who was a part of the Vidi II side last season. Adrian Szekeres returned from a loan deal with Dunaujvaros, while Tomas Tujvel also took part in training after his loan deal came to an end with KTE.
Juan Calatayud's contract runs out with Vidi on the 30th June so he did not report back as a result on the first day of pre-season. Keeper Tamas Horvath has moved to Puskas Academy on a loan deal.
