Videoton progressed in to the last eight of the league cup on Tuesday, following their 4-1 aggregate win over Pecs. The Fehervar side were due to play the winners of the Pecs - Paks cup tie. Pecs drew 1-1 with Aurel Csertoi's Paks side, before winning the second leg 3-1, to make it a 4-2 aggregate win. One note of interest is that on loan Vidi player Milan Perics, hit three goals inside just eight minutes in the second leg match. That helped his Pecs side through to the last eight where they will now face Videoton.

The first leg is expected to be played on Tuesday 18th March 2014, with the return leg taking place on the 1st April. Vidi/Pecs will face the winners of the Debrecen/Vasas tie.
