Gyereksarok40A több poszton is bevethető játékos a középpályán sem érzi idegenül magát, de már jó ideje inkább a védősorban számít rá mindenkori edzője – hol a jobb, hol a bal oldalon. A Vidiben nevelkedő, majd a Puskás Akadémiáról kikerülő védő klubunk második csapatában kezdte a pályafutását a felnőttek között, 2009 augusztusában mutatkozott be.
A még mindig nagyon fiatal játékos – akinek januári születésnapja mindig az edzőtábor egyik nagy eseménye – végigjárta a szamárlétrát, nem csak a Vidinél, de a korosztályos válogatottaknál is: volt U18-as, U19-es, U21-es válogatott.
Végül Paulo Sousa kezei alatt mutatkozott be a felnőtt csapatban. A 2011-2012-es idényben félig még a második csapatban játszva 13 alkalommal léphetett pályára a magyar bajnokság legfelsőbb osztályában.
Egyenletes fejlődésének eredményeképpen kiérdemelte Paulo Sousa bizalmát, így amikor Stopira sérülése miatt 2012 őszén lyuk támadt a védelemben, Szolnokit bátran hadba lehetett vetni az Európa Liga selejtezői, majd csoportmeccsei alatt egyaránt.
A remek teljesítménynek köszönhetően tartósan megragadt a keretben, így 2014-15-ben magyar bajnok lett, már háromszoros ezüstérmes, kétszer-kétszer a Magyar Kupában és a Ligakupában is ezt a színű medált akasztották a nyakába, utóbbi sorozat kiírását egy alkalommal megnyerte a Vidivel. Kétszeres Szuperkupa-győztes és egyszeres ezüstérmes.

A több poszton is bevethető játékos a középpályán sem érzi idegenül magát, de már jó ideje inkább a védősorban számít rá mindenkori edzője – hol a jobb, hol a bal oldalon. A Vidiben nevelkedő, majd a Puskás Akadémiáról kikerülő védő klubunk második csapatában kezdte a pályafutását a felnőttek között, 2009 augusztusában mutatkozott be.
A még mindig nagyon fiatal játékos – akinek januári születésnapja mindig az edzőtábor egyik nagy eseménye – végigjárta a szamárlétrát, nem csak a Vidinél, de a korosztályos válogatottaknál is: volt U18-as, U19-es, U21-es válogatott.
Végül Paulo Sousa kezei alatt mutatkozott be a felnőtt csapatban. A 2011-2012-es idényben félig még a második csapatban játszva 13 alkalommal léphetett pályára a magyar bajnokság legfelsőbb osztályában.
Egyenletes fejlődésének eredményeképpen kiérdemelte Paulo Sousa bizalmát, így amikor Stopira sérülése miatt 2012 őszén lyuk támadt a védelemben, Szolnokit bátran hadba lehetett vetni az Európa Liga selejtezői, majd csoportmeccsei alatt egyaránt.
A remek teljesítménynek köszönhetően tartósan megragadt a keretben, így 2014-15-ben magyar bajnok lett, már háromszoros ezüstérmes, kétszer-kétszer a Magyar Kupában és a Ligakupában is ezt a színű medált akasztották a nyakába, utóbbi sorozat kiírását egy alkalommal megnyerte a Vidivel. Kétszeres Szuperkupa-győztes és egyszeres ezüstérmes.
2015-ben egy Litvánia elleni barátságos mérkőzésen, Debrecenben mutatkozott be a magyar válogatottban.
