Gyereksarok906A Budapest Honvédnál mutatkozott be a felnőttcsapatban a XII. kerületi születésű hátvéd, aki első évében hat mérkőzésen szerepelt, de így is bajnoki ezüstérmes és Magyar Kupa-ezüstérmes lett. 1965-ben újabb hat alkalommal játszott, majd az idény végén Fehérvárra került, a klubhoz pedig hűséges maradt.
1966-tól oszlopos tagja volt védelmünknek, így kétszeres NB I/B-s aranyérmes, illetve klubtörténetünk első NB I-es meccsének szereplője, 69 élvonalbeli (és 82 másodosztályú) találkozón játszott színeinkben.
