Videoton and Marko Andjics mutually agreed to break up the existing contract of the defender
Videoton have parted company with defender Marko Andjics with his present contract due to expire at the end of the month. The club agreed to allow Marko to leave the club straight away so that he can concentrate on his new challenge ahead. The Serbian right back made his debut in Videoton colours, back on the 2nd August 2008, under former manager Laszlo Disztl. He went on to make a further 74 first division appearances scoring 5 goals in the process. The last of his goals came in the memorable 5-0 away win at Ferencvaros, for one of his trademark free kicks. Andjics will now link up with Cypriot side Famagusta, and everyone connected with the club wishes him and his family the best!
