"The keeper was forced to come off during the second half of the cup match with FTC. The injury happened in the first half, but he did not feel anything and had no idea what the problem was. Tests following the game have sadly revealed that Danilovics suffered a serious injury. He suffered a deep cut to his thigh. Dr Geza Abkarovits was on hand to operate on the goalkeeper at the local Szekesfehervar hospital. We are at the post operation stage, and his is recovering well in the hospital. He will have to remain in hospital for the remainder of the week. He will then be able to return home following that. His rehabilitation work will begin in around 3 weeks time." - revealed Dr Tibor Kovacs.
