On Friday morning our team played a behind closed doors training match against the NB II team Gyirmót FC Győr at the Sóstói Stadium. This time our head coach went for the eleven of Kovács D. - Csongvai, Larsen, Spandler, Zeke - Rúben Pinto, Christensen - Kastrati, Houri, Schön - Kodro, with Kodro wearing the captain's armband. 

The match started with a shot by Kastrati, which was saved while at the other end Madarász's shot did not pose any real threat. Medgyes and Kicsun both had further attempts, but Vidi keeper Kovács still did not have to intervene. In the 19th minute, Kastrati headed the ball to Kodró, who shot from 18 yards, but it missed the target. Three minutes later Schön shot from 15, Hársfalvi made a smart save with his foot. In the 34th minute, our former goalkeeper was again in the thick of the action, Kodro's 12-metre shot was met by him with a fine reflex save. Two minutes before the end of the first half, Kovács made a great save, our keeper saved Madarász's shot from seven metres.

Neither team made a substitution at the break, and the next chance came in the 57th minute, when Pethő's powerful right-footed shot missed the post by half a metre. In the 71st minute, Medgyes curled the ball over the top from close range after a right-wing cross, and ten minutes later Schön was brought down by Csörgő inside the penalty area, but the referee did not blow his whistle. In the 84th minute, a great situation was missed: Kodro set up Schön, who tried to push the ball over the outrushing Hársfalvi, but our former goalkeeper was alert and made a great save. In the end, Kodro could have scored the winning goal, Kastrati's cross was good for our striker, but his contact with the ball wasn't good and the score remained 0-0.
