Ádám Kovácsik will leave our club at the end of his contract.

Ádám Kovácsik, our number one goalkeeper in 2018, played a major role in Vidi's third NB I title win. He won silver medals in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020, bronze in 2021, the Hungarian Cup in 2019 and cup silver in 2021.

He made his debut for the senior national team in 2017, becoming the 51st international in the history of our club. He was voted the Best Goalkeeper of the Season by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) in 2017 and 2018 and was also named in the Dream Team of the Season. In total, he has played 195 matches in a Vidi shirt and has kept 76 clean sheets, with only the legendary Péter Disztl (100 times) keeping more.

Adam's successes have been a number, with only four goals going past him in 13 league games in the 2018 title-winning spring, and his penalty statistics were also excellent, with only 12 of 19 penalties taken against him finding the net. In the 2022/2023 season, he kept goal for Győr on loan in NB II.
