Last Friday, our 18-year-old player successfully passed the advanced level English exam, and two days later he made his debut in the NB I.

"I'm very happy to have made my debut in the League at the age of 18, and in a winning match. It's true that I only played a few minutes on the pitch, but for me it's a sign that they trust me and I will do my best to play more matches in the first division next year. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped me get this far over the years, especially my family and coaches, and my teammates, without whom I wouldn't be here. Last year I made my first team debut in the cup match against Sopron, but I was much more excited then than I am now on Sunday. Szabolcs Huszti sent me out to do my part on the pitch and run as much as possible in the few minutes left of the game. Although the NB I autumn season is over, I didn't take a break, as Vidi II still have three more league games this season.."
The young player had a busy week, as he not only had to perform well on the pitch in training and against Kisvárda, but also in the classroom.
"I'm happy to be one of the main players in the second team this season and I'm also happy to have five goals to my name this season, I'd like to score a few more in the NB III. Apart from football, I'm also trying to do well at school, I'm going to graduate next spring, but I've already done my English at advanced level, my written exam came a week ago and I got 97%, while my oral exam was last Friday, two days before my NB I debut, and since I did well in that one too, I can't complain about the last few days. But as I said, I'm not stopping, I'm doing my best to be successful on the football pitch and at school" - said Bence Kovács to our website.
