Georgia won with Zivzivadze in the starting line-up

Serafimov and Kodro did not play for their national team this time.

The Hungarian national team was defeated 2-0 by Italy at home last night, so we managed to finish second in Group A of the Nations League, ahead of England and Germany. Both our national team players - Loic Nego and Attila Fiola - played the whole match.

Budu Zivzivadze also made a start for his country as Georgia beat Gibraltar 2-1 to win the Nations League C and advance to League B.

Nikola Serafimov and Kenan Kodro were both absent on Monday night, as Northern Macedonia lost 1-0 to Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina were beaten 4-1 by Romania. Despite their defeat, Kordó's side still won the Nations League 'B' to advance to League 'A', while Romania, who had former Vidi starter Adrian Rus in the starting line-up, finished last and were relegated to League 'C'.

Vidi's young midfielder Peter Pokorny is set to start for his country's U21 national team early this evening. Slovakia won 3-2 against Ukraine U21 in the first leg of their play-off for qualification for the 2023 European U21 Championship last week, with the return leg of that match taking place today at 17:30.
