Another great feat for the national team: victory in Germany!

Attila Fiola started, while Loic Nego came on as a substitute in the Nations League match won by a goal from Ádám Szalai.

Hungary, who lead Group A of group 3 of the Nations League, took on Germany in Leipzig on Friday night. In the penultimate round of the series, MOL Fehérvár FC's two internationals, Attila Fiola, started the game, while Loic Nego started on the bench.

In the 17th minute, Fiola did well to set up Ádám Szalai, whose shot bounced out for a corner. From the corner kick, however, Hungary took the lead, Szalai curling the ball into the left side of the goal with a clever flick (0-1)!

In the 25th minute, the Vidi captain crossed from the left, the shot from András Schäfer was saved by Ter Stegen. The Hungarian side, who were highly organised defensively, led 1-0 at the break, while in the other group game the Italians were drawing 0-0 with England.

After the turnaround, the Germans played more dangerously in the first quarter of an hour before the match became even again. The Hungarian defence, with Fiola on the right, kept the German attacks at bay, Gulácsi was on hand when needed, and in the 86th minute former Vidi midfielder László Kleinheisler had a chance to score, but Ter Stegen's did well to prevent the game from being decided at that stage.

By then Loic Nego was on the pitch and the result remained unchanged in the five-minute extra time, as the Hungarian national team secured a great victory in Germany to stay in the NL A Division, and will play for the group title against Italy, who beat England 1-0 at the Puskás Arena on Monday at 20:45.
