The 29-year-old Danish defender joins Vidi on a one-year loan from Odense.

According to the agreement between Danish club Odense BK and our club on Monday, Kasper Larsen will continue his career with Vidi on loan!
The 29-year-old defender who is 192 cm tall, was born on the 25th January 1993 in Odense, Denmark. He started his career in his hometown's youth team, making his debut in the Danish Super League in the 2011/2012 season and appearing in eight league games in his first half-season, before joining FC Astana on loan from Kazakhstan in the spring of 2015.
He was then bought by Dutch first division side Groningen, where he played for three years from August 2015 to August 2018. He played in 47 top-flight matches in the Netherlands and also appeared in five Europa League matches in the 2015/2016 season. Larsen then moved to Norrköping in Sweden, where he scored two goals and three assists in 30 first division games as a defender in a year and a half, as well as playing in six Europa League qualifiers. He returned to Odense in January 2020, where he has 121 first division games and three goals to his name.
From U16 to U21, he has played for every Danish age group team, as well as his country's Olympic team, and has eight caps for the Danish national side.
"My first impressions of Hungary are very good and I'm looking forward to training and playing in matches with the team. I also watched Fehérvár's recent games and I was happy to see them qualify for the playoff round in the Conference League. It's rare that you get to play against a team as big as Cologne, so I'm looking forward to this match as well. I want to prove my abilities and play as many games as possible this season, and of course finish as high as possible in the league" Kasper Larsen told our website after signing the contract.
"After the departure of Adrián Rus, we were keen to sign a centre-back, a player who is in the game and has the right height. With these factors in mind, we decided to sign Kasper Larsen, hoping that he will quickly fit into the team, as he is in good form and will increase the head coach's options in defence." said István Sallói, the club's sporting director.
