The two head coaches evaluated the FTC - MOL Fehérvár FC league game

Michael Boris and Stanislav Cherchesov shared their thoughts after the match.

Michael Boris:

"Congratulations to Ferencváros for the victory! Not much was right with our game today, FTC looked sharper from the first minute. Watching the games against Puskás Akadémia and Qarabag, we saw that FTC can't really do much when they are closed down, their defenders can be confused. We would have liked to have been able to pull up a lot more, but we couldn't. After the first 5 minutes, it was quite obvious that we were late to the ball, we were not moving in the spaces where we could get the ball. The second and third goals came after unforced errors. Practically after the first half the game was over. I do not recall that we had a shot on target in the first half, and in the second half we had two shots on goal, but we did not score. Of course I am disappointed, but let's not forget that we have an away game against Cologne in the ECL next week. We made a lot of substitutions today and last week in Kishinev in order to keep the team fresh, but we obviously failed. I haven't had time to discuss Kodro's condition with the medical staff yet, but it's clear that he didn't look well and will definitely need a hospital check-up. I can't say yet whether I can expect him to play next week."

Sztanyiszlav Csercseszov:

What I'm happy about is that we won and we're top of the table, and on Thursday we'll play for the EL group stage. We didn't plan on a four-goal win, but we wanted to serve our fans tonight because of the previous CL defeat, and I think we did that. A CL match takes a lot out of the players, which is why I had to change the starting line-up in several places, but we still saw a real team on the pitch today. We practice a lot on the quick transitions from defence to attack, I'm glad to see that from the players in today's game. I must point out that Vidi played an away European cup game on Thursday, so they had less time to rest."
