After Thursday's victory in chisinau and before the first playoff match against 1. FC Köln next week, FTC hosted our team in the Groupama Arena on Sunday evening in the 3rd round of the OTP Bank Liga. Our head coach Michael Boris sent out Kovács D. - Fiola, Stopira, Shabanov - Nego, Bumba, Pinto, Dárdai, Heister - Petryak - Kodro to start.

The match started with the ball mainly in the middle of the pitch, and in the sixth minute Petryak's header bounced off a defender for a corner. In the 11th minute, Ryan Mmaee's shot was saved bravely by Dániel Kovács, but four minutes later our goalkeeper was helpless as Vécsei's shot bounced off the post to Traoré, who put Auzqui in a great position - the Argentine made no mistake from close range (1-0).

After almost half an hour of play, Nego's cross was met by Kodro, but Pászka saved ahead of the Bosnian striker. Kenan later asked for treatment and then came offf to be replaced by Budu Zivzadze in the 36th minute. Two minutes later, Traoré's shot was saved by Kovács, but Mercier reacted best to the rebound and fired into the net past our helpless goalkeeper for the second goal (2-0). In half-time injury time, Traoré scored again (3-0), and we went into the dressing room three goals down.

In the second half Heister, Bumba and Petryak did not come out, replaced by Hangya, Pokorny and Funsho. The home side understandably did not make any substitutions. In the 50th minute, Zivzivadze's lively shot from 17 yards was just wide of the far post. Then our Georgian striker tried again, Dibusz was on the spot to deal with it. In the 67th minute, we led a nice attack, Dárdai could have put Dárdai's pass into the net but it was blocked for a corner by the Green and Whites. We fought for a consolation towards the end of the match, the closest we came was Budu in the 89th minute, who hit a very nice solo shot from inside the penalty area, but Dibusz saved. The match was closed by substitute Boli, who finished the game with a pass from Marquinhos into the empty net from close range (4-0). The ECL play-off against 1. FC Köln is on Thursday, and next week's match against Újpest FC has been postponed, as the new date for the match has not yet been set by the MLSZ Competition Committee.
