The Portuguese midfielder will play in a Vidi shirt for another two years.

30-year-old Rúben Pinto joined the club in September 2020. In the last two seasons, he has played 27 league and 8 cup matches for the red and blues, scoring three goals. In June 2021, during our summer training camp, he suffered a serious injury, which allowed him to return to the pitch in the second half of the season. By the end of the season, he had become a regular starter and was named in the InStat round-robin squad on three occasions. His contract was due to expire this summer and has now been extended by two years.
"I am very happy that we have extended my contract and I can continue my career at Vidi. When I came to Fehérvár, I said I wanted to achieve great things with Vidi, I still do and I didn't want this story to end. I would like to thank everyone who put their trust in me and I promise to continue to do everything I can to make Vidi successful in the future. Last season wasn't the best season for me, unfortunately I suffered a seriously injury in the summer and in order to return for the second half of the season I really needed the support of the club, not only on the pitch but also mentally. I am confident that we will achieve our goals next season. We can prepare in excellent conditions, the club will give us all the conditions to be at our best. I want to continue to give 100% and the most important thing is to keep our fans happy," Ruben PInto told our website after signing the contract.
"Rúben Pinto has had a difficult year, but even after a serious injury he has shown that he can help the team with quality play. He is a player with a good attitude and a strong character, who has become an important link in the team after his recovery. Michael Boris is counting on him, and we are looking forward to seeing him in a Vidi shirt in the coming seasons," said Sporting Director István Sallói.

The five-time top scorer announced the end of his successful career at the MOL Arena Sósto on Sunday.

Kodro scored the most goals, Dárdai gave out the most assists and Stopira received the most yellow cards.

Vidi's Honduran midfielder is preparing for the Gold Cup.

A friendly and an Africa Cup of Nations match await Cape Verde in June.

MOL will not be extending its team sponsorship contract with our club, so as a result next season, we will play under the name Fehérvár FC.

Another international invitation has arrived at the Sósto.
