Székesfehérvár polgármestere is méltatta a hölgyek idei teljesítményét.
Remek teljesítményt nyújtva, 24 meccsen 63 pontot gyűjtve nyerte meg az női NB II Nyugati csoportját a MOL Fehérvár FC felnőtt női csapata. A bajnoki cím egyben feljutást is jelentett, így a Vidi történetében először szerepel majd női csapatunk a legmagasabb osztályban.
A bajnokcsapatot, a hagyományoknak megfelelően Székesfehérvár polgármestere, dr. Cser-Palkovics András is köszöntötte, aki a fogadáson elmondta, mindig nagy öröm, ha fehérvári bajnokcsapattal találkozhat a Városházán, de az még külön boldogság számára, hogy az együttest szinte kivétel nélkül helyi kötődésű játékosok alkotják.
