On Wednesday evening it was decided that our team will also play in the 2022/2023 season in the European Conference League, as the 4th place of the OTP Bank Liga, MOL Fehérvár FC, will also be able to play in the ECL. On this occasion, molcsapat.hu interviewed our sport director, István Sallói. 

“It was not our plan, but we have grasped the last straw, and if we reach the Conference League main draw next season, nobody will care how we have reached the European Cup qualification. It's not that we are celebrating, but we can be happy that we have won the right to qualify for European Cup competition, because Vidi have a place in the international field. Our fans have played a very big role in helping us to get back from the bottom. When the team was at a historic low, they stood by the players, didn't hurt them, but supported them all the time. If it wasn't for them, we might not have been able to break out of the spiral and we wouldn't be talking about being back in Europe.
