The two managers spoke at the post match press conference following the 1-1 draw.

Imre Szabics:
"The reaction has been very positive over the past two weeks and I am very satisfied. We should have won the game on the basis of the chances we had. We worked hard and if we keep working like this in the future, we will win the matches. I think you could see the difference in the stadium and in front of the TV, we should have won this game at least 1-0. The home team had one situation in the first half, I don't remember more, and in the second we conceded a goal. I sent both substitutes on with the aim of scoring goals and winning, but unfortunately we didn't manage that today."
Róbert Waltner :
It was a fair draw. Vidi had chances in the first half, but we could have scored through Zimonyi. Vidi are a strong team, they played well, but we came from behind to draw the game and everyone gave their best. I could see the team unity, we were prepared for our opponents, who changed during the game. We had a lot of injuries, we had no substitutes in midfield, but the boys worked hard for a point, I'm proud of them! I was very tired too, I couldn't sit still in the match. I was really into it, I wanted to run on the pitch. But it was worth it!

Alef, Fiola and Musliu were all included in the best XI for the first league game of the season.
