Hungary in full training ahead of the Euro championship

Vidi defender Attila Fiola spoke to the media on Thursday.

The Hungarian national team is preparing for the June European Championships in Saalfelden, Austria. As we have already written, four players from our team - Bendeguz Bolla, Attila Fiola, Loic Nego and Nemanja Nikolic - are members of Marco Rossi's extensive squad. (As is already known, Szilveszter Hangya will miss the games due to injury.)

According to the mlsz.hu website, the players took part in two training sessions on Wednesday, and they practiced on Thursday afternoon, now in full force, after the final missing players arrived at the camp.

In addition to Kevin Varga, Attila Fiola also answered questions from journalists at the pre-training press conference.

"I play where they put it. If I have to, I would go in goal too, and what would be would be. I was a right-back in eighty percent of my matches in the national team, but we play with three central defenders and perhaps that suits me best. I like this positon the most. But I try to give the maximum wherever I get a chance."

The national team will have two preparation matches in June. The first will be against Cyprus on the 4th and Ireland on the 8th in Budapest at the Szusza Ferenc Stadium. The national team will start the European Championships against Portugal on June 15 at 18:00 pm in the Puskás Arena.
