Hungary won 3-1 away in Bulgaria on Thursday evening.

On Thursday night, the Hungarian national team entered the pitch in Bulgaria, in the European Championship qualifying match at the Vasil Levszki Stadium. The winning team being able to participate in the European Championship if they could beat the winner of the Iceland-Romania match (as it turned out later, against Iceland). Marco Rossi chose the following team: Gulácsi - Fiola, Orbán, Lang, Szalai, Holender - Kalmár, Nagy, Sigér - Sallai, Szalai.
Vidi player Attila Fiola started in the match with Nemanja Nikolic, Szilveszter Hangya and Loic Nego among the subs. Hungary went ahead following a corner by Kalmar, which was met by Orban from close range to make it 0-1. The home side tried to find a way back but the two teams went in at the break with Hungary leading by the single goal.
The second half began really well as Kalmar took a free kick from 25 meters, and his powerful strike coming off the Bulgarian wall and into the back of the net (0-2). Bulgaria were originally awarded a penalty on 56 minutes, which after reviewing it changed to a free kick, which went wide of the target.
Nemanja Nikolic came on to replace Szalai after 58 minutes with another Vidi player, Szilveszter Hangya also coming on 10 minutes later for Kalmar. Finally there was a debut for Loic Nego who came on for Holender.
Hungary increased their lead after 76 minutes to make it 0-3 as a cross from Hangya was headed home by Nikolic in what was a move created and finished by Vidi players.
Jomov did score close to the end for Bulgaria to make it 1-3.
In the other game, Iceland defeated Romania 2-1 so Hungary will face Iceland in Budapest on the 12th November for a place in the Euro Championships.

A válogatott szünetben az NB II éllovasával játszottunk edzőmérkőzést, gólunkat Kenan Kodro szerezte.

Szombaton 9.00-kor kezdődik az Aszalvölgyi Focikupa a Túrózsáki úti szabadidőparkban, 10.00-kor a "Nap a Nőkért - közös séta a mellrák ellen" program az Országalmánál. Mindkét helyszínen ott leszünk.
