Papp Marcell signed from Ferencváros U19 to Szekesfehervar in the summer. The young striker quickly became the main man of our NB III team, playing for Vidi II, he has already scored 6 goals in the 10 league games so far, putting him currently in third place on the top scorers list in the Western group.

"I am extremely happy to have joined the team travelling to the MOL Hungarian Cup match and to be able to enter the pitch in the colours of Vidi. It has always been my dream to make my debut by scoring a goal in my first adult competitive match. This has already been done twice here in Vidi, as I was able to play my first adult league game against Veszprém for Vidi II a month and a half ago and although we lost 2-1, I scored the goal for our team. And on Sunday afternoon, to my great delight, I was able to debut with a goal again in the first team of Vidi. I know I still have a lot of work to do to make all my goals become a reality, but I feel like I’m on the right track. As before, I will continue to work hard week after week, and when I get a chance to prove it for the first team, I will try to live with it." - commented Marcell Papp.
