The club and the town have always been number one for our forward.

Nemanja Nikolic gave a lengthy interview to Hungarian website csakfoci.hu. The second most successful scorer in Vidi's history spoke honestly about his disappointments and successes. He also spoke about his career so far and the several stops along the way. 'I don't have an old or new Vidi. There is only Vidi, which, as I said, always comes first. This club and town accepted me and became my home, which I am grateful for. I became a father here and I have enjoyed the best moments of my career here with my friends. I am lucky as I also got so much from Legia that I had wanted. It was a great year and a half there when we won everything. I have pocketed all the available individual awards and my dream came true: I played in the Champions League as well. I also have fond memories of my time in Chicago, which will remain with me for good. I had to battle it out to become top goalscorer together with Villa, Giovinco and Ibra. I also made it into the MLS All Star team in my first year out there and my third child was also born in Chicago, which means the city will forever be in our hearts. Each place meant a lot and I love returning back there. The best feeling is that we will be returning back to Warsaw and Chicago with warm hearts." - explained Niko.
