Martin Major was born in Szekesfehervar on the 29th April 2001. The footballer started playing at the age of 6 for his local club Aba. He signed for Vidi in 2012 and played for the U12 side. He has since made his way through the various youth teams. His biggest success to date came in 2017 when he played for the U17 side in the NB II league. Martin Major was a key player for that team even though he could even have played for the U16 side as a result of his age. He made his debut for the NB III side in the summer of 2018 and went on to become a regular player in that side. He signed his first professional contract with Vidi on the 2nd March 2020. 

"Everyone knows how hard it is to go through the ranks with the club and make it all the way to the NB I team. Martin Major has a chance in front of him. He is a good example of how working hard and being coached by suitable coaches at Vidi can lead to our own players going on to sign professional contracts. We hope that Martin will grasp that chance as his qualities allow his to reach that and become a first division footballer.
