Lyes Houri joins MOL Fehervar FC

The French midfielder has strengthened the Vidi squad.

FC Viitorul and our club have agreed on Lyes Houri joining Vidi and moving to Szekesfehervar.

He was born on the 19th January 1996 in the town of Lomme. The 21 year old played in France for Bastia, Valenciennes and Belfort. He then joined Roda in Holland in 2017. His next move came in the summer of 2018 when he joined Romanian first division side FC Viitorul. He went on to make 41 appearances for Konstanca, which brought him 4 goals and the same amount of assists. His team won the Romanian cup in season 2018/19.

"We have been watching Houri for more than half year and my colleagues watched him play several times in league games. We managed to beat several serious rivals to his signature. He performed well each time we saw him. I am pleased that he chose us in the end. I hope that he goes on to perform equally well for Vidi with that which he did playing for FC Viitorul. It would be great if he could play even better as we have everything in place for him to develop further" - commented Zoltan Kovacs - Director of Football.

"I am very excited and pleased to have linked up with the Vidi squad. I can hardly wait to take part in training on Monday. I am also looking forward to getting to know my new team mates. It is obvious what the target is here in Vidi: that is to win the league and the cup. I also want us to do well in Europe in the summer" - commented Lyes Houri.

Lyes Houri has signed a long term contract with our club and will wear the number 96 shirt.
