Vidi won the Hungarian Cup for the second time in the clubs history when they beat Honved.
The Hungarian Cup was lifted for the second time in May. The run to the final included wins over Cigand (2-0), Vac (3-1), Budafok (2-1), Taksony (1-0 and 3-0), Ferencvaros (2-1, 2-0) and a semi-final win over Debrecen (1-0, 3-0). Bp. Honved awaited the red and blues in the final and the 100% run in the cup continued with a 2-1 win
