The 22 year old Serbian midfielder arrives on loan from Chelsea.

Our club and Chelsea FC have agreed on the loan signing of Danilo Pantics for the 2019/2020 season. The 22 year old Serbian midfielder can also play as a forward and came through the Partizan youth system. He left them in the summer of 2015 to join the big English club. The London club have loaned him out several times over recent seasons including Dutch side Vitesse and Excelsior, but he did return to Partizan also on loan. Pantic played in 32 league games in the colours of Partizan and scored 6 times. In all he made 45 appearances and scored 8 goals in all competitions last year. He was also called up to the Serbian U21 side and has represented them 13 times. Pantics was involved in the game in Belgrade in the Europa League Play-off match but remained on the bench for the first leg. He did come on after 77 minutes in the second leg. Marko Nikolic worked together with Danilo Pantic during his first period with the Belgrade club from December 2013 until May 2015.
"I am pleased that I can be here as it has always been my aim to be fighting to win trophies. I now have the chance to do this here. I hope that the team will have a successful year and that I can contribute with goals and assists. I always try to give my best in each training session and game that I play in. Naturally one of the reasons in my decision to join is that I know Marko Nikolic and the coaching team from Partizan. However, you could also say that I am aware of what Vidi has been doing as Marko Scepovic and Danko Lazovic were my team mates from the past. This is why I was following the results and I know that the team have performed well in Europe. I hope that I will also be successful here in Fehervar" - commented new signing Danilo Pantic.
"We have been looking for a long time for such a midfielder that can give us a different style to our play than the current squad. There was been plenty of competition for places until now and the signing of Danilo Pantic only adds to the quality of the team. He is a hard working, quick and technical player that has worked previously with our manager Marko Nikolic. This made our job easier in signing him. Danilo has arrived in a loan deal but there is naturally the option to buy him. I feel that there is a realistic chance of him strengthening Vidi long term. It is a good feeling for everyone at the club to be able to bring in a player from a World famous side such as Chelsea. I also want to add that Chelsea showed us respect and it is a good feeling" - commented Director of Football Zoltan Kovacs.

Vidi were paired with Hibernians FC of Malta when the draw was made today in Nyon.

Vidi will travel to Malta for the Europa League Q2 game, which will be played on the 17th September.

The young Vidi full back was called up late on Sunday evening by manager Marco Rossi.

Vidi will find out which out of the following teams they will face in the EL Q2.

The two managers shared their thoughts following Vidi's 4-1 win at Budafok on Sunday.
