MOL Fehervar FC have signed keeper Bence Gundel-Takacs from Ujpest. 

Born in 1998, he signed for MTK at the age of 13 and helped them to the U15 second division title in his first period. He would also play his role in their third place finish a year later in the first division. He became an U16 champion in 2014 and moved to Puskas Academy that summer. He spent 3 years in Felcsut and was U17 champion in 2015. He kept moving up and 2016 saw him make his debut in the NB III. The keeper moved to Ujpest in the summer 2017 transfer window. He made his debut in the first division in May 2018 and kept goal 3 times in the last 4 games of that season. He most recently played in the second game of this season and was in goal in their Hungarian Cup match. 

"It was a bit of a surprise that MOL Fehervar FC came looking for me. I never thought for a minute whether I would accept and am very happy to be here. I have arrived to Szekesfehervar with big plans. There is a massive responsibility playing for a club of this size. However, this is not new to me after my time with Ujpest. I will try my best to be out there on the pitch and achieve success with the club. I did not get too much chance recently so I do need to catch up a little but I will solve this. I do not know goalkeeping coach Istvan Brockhauser and the other keepers personally but I am excited to begin working with them" - commented keeper Bence Gundel-Takacs.

"Bence brought attention to himself quite early at his former clubs. He has rare exceptional qualities, which all point to him becoming a very good keeper. He became more well-known when he made his debut for Ujpest FC in the NB I and performed really good. We have kept an eye on him since and we know he has great potential.
