The experienced referee was last in charge of the Hungarian Cup game between FTC and Vidi, which ended in a 2-1 win.

The Hungarian FA have appointed 46 year old Peter Solymosi for the opening game of the season against Kaposvar. He took his refereeing badge 24 years ago in 1995 and made his debut in the autumn of 1997. He quickly moved up the leagues and was officiating NB III games. A year and a half later and it was first the NB II and then the NB I/B.
The autumn of 2002 saw him take charge of his first NB I game, which involved MTK against Matav Sopron FC. He was chosen as the best referee for season 2014-15. Solymosi was last involved in the Hungarian Cup game between FTC and Vidi, which ended in a 2-1 win.
