There was a press conference before the training session at the Podgorica stadium on Wednesday.

The squad arrived in Podgorica on Wednesday morning and headed straight to the hotel for check in and lunch. They then headed over to the nearby stadium for the evening training session. However, that was preceded by a press conference that was attended by manager Marko Nikolic and forward Marko Scepovic.
The journalists present spoke in Serbian to the Vidi pair. Marko Nikolic highlighted the journey that the team had made during last season's European run. He also spoke about the opponents who he described as a young side with a good mentality. He is sure that Zeta will run out on to the pitch on Thursday with a grit between their teeth.
Marko Scepovic mentioned that the squad had gone through a very good pre-season and had suitably prepared for the game with FK Zeta. He added that the EL Q1 would consist of surprise results, but that Vidi would make sure that this would not happen to us and that we would go through.
The training session started at 20:00pm with a gentle warm up and some ball work. The media were present for the first 15 minutes.

An impressive 5-1 away win, which included three goals from Loic Nego has firmly put the red and blues in the driving seat ahead of next week's second leg.

The two managers shared their reaction shortly after the final whistle.

The team captain rose to head home Vidi's fourth goal in the 5-1 first leg away win.

Loic Nego struck three times inside the first half to help Vidi to a first leg lead in Montenegro. Further goals close to the end from Juhasz and a lovely free kick from Huszti secured a 5-1 lead.

The plane carrying the Vidi squad touched down in the Montenegro capital just before midday.

MOL Fehervar FC will play their EL Q1, 1st leg away in Podgorica against FK Zeta on Thursday.
