"I feel that overall it has been a successful season that we have just ended. I am proud of the players and that I can be a member of this team. We went into the season with three targets: to defend our league title, to reach the group stage in Europe and to lift the Hungarian Cup. We managed to get two of those three, which I feel is a good performance. Naturally there is a feeling of sadness that we could not get that league title. I have won a cup for the first time in 8 years and although that first cup win was a great feeling, I find it hard to find words for the 2019 Hungarian Cup win. I came on in the final with the team trailing and went on to score the winning goal in the 91st minute. I cannot write down that feeling that I felt after that goal. It is these moments that we live for as a footballer. I have scored some important goals in my career but I feel this goal is among the most important. We will now have a short break for a summer holiday, which I aim to recharge myself as best I can. It has been a long and difficult season. We will start pre-season in the middle of June ahead of the new season. The aim cannot be anything other than for the team to be as successful in 2019/2020 as it has been this year" - commented midfielder Anel Hadzic.
